We Help Hard-working Families
Escape Homelessness & Hotel Row!
Families are currently, the fastest growing segment of the homeless population, due largely to the financial impacts of the previous COVID-19 pandemic and recent natural disasters throughout the U.S in recent years. 51% of these families live in motels and are unable to advance and obtain suitable housing due to the cost associated with living in a motel. HUD does not consider these families "homeless" making them ineligible for most housing assistance and resources for the homeless, meaning that in order for families to receive help, they must be currently living somewhere not meant for human habitation such as abandoned buildings, parks, on the streets or wooded areas in tents, or in their vehicle. Which presents a different issue because living in a place not meant for human habitation is illegal to do with children, meaning asking for help in these situations often leads to children being removed from their parent's custody and placed into the system to be subjected to trauma and abuse. Motels are no place for a child to grow-up and often have a negative impact on mental well-being and development. Join us in our mission to help these families transition from hotel row into stable homes.
“With the food and the gas price increases, there has been less to go around for rent or [a] hotel stay. So, a lot of times, families are having to make difficult choices between paying for gas to get to their job, or putting food on the table, or saving up for a deposit, or paying their rent. It puts families in a really tough spot, financially."

We’re Helping Homeless Families Get Through the Week by Providing Boxes of Necessities!
We are thrilled to share an exciting new initiative to support 30 homeless families in our community. Our mission is simple yet impactful: to provide boxes of necessities that will help these families get through one week. By offering these essential items, we aim to alleviate some of the financial pressure that families face, allowing them to redirect their resources towards important goals such as paying housing application fees or other essential needs that contribute to achieving stable housing and self-sufficiency.
